Date ： Sun 24 Oct 2010 Show ： AKC Troy Kennel Club Show Site ： Eastern States Exposition 1305 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield, MA 01089 Judge ： Ms. Joy S. Brewster ( Hound Group and Dachshund, from USA) I could have an opportunity to visit the American dog show. This show was the indoor all breed show. Approved all AKC-recognized breeds can exhibit. Location of the show ground was the edge of West Springfield, MA. There were approximately 1,400 entries, and then the entries of Dachshund were 37. I special thank the member of Troy Kennel Club for their kindness. Their support was the great helps for me as it was the first time to go to the AKC dog show. I could feel the air of the foreign dog show and could enjoy the AKC show. Especially I had a very good and a meaningfull time with the exhibiters and the handlers, talking about dachshund, handling, and something on the show and dog. I believe those will be the great helps to improve my dachshund and my showing in the futuer. I thank everyone again. It was very cold there although it was late in October yet. Likely the same cold as in December or January in Japan.
